Welcoming people from all walks of life, EcoFest is a month-long celebration of Tāmaki Makaurau’s unique natural environment and the vibrant community efforts that help protect and restore it. Held across Auckland, the festival brings together passionate individuals, families, educators, and organisations to share in a collective experience of learning, doing, and growing.

The EcoFest programme is rich with interactive workshops, experiences, and hands-on activities designed for all ages. Whether you’re planting trees, learning about composting, exploring native biodiversity, or creating sustainable art, each event offers a chance to make a positive impact while enjoying time together in nature.
