Seven Seals
In the book of Revelation, the Lamb (Jesus) is the only one found worthy to open a scroll sealed with seven seals. As each seal is broken, a new vision unfolds — including the famous four horsemen. You can read the scene in Revelation 5–8.
In Revelation, how many seals are on the scroll opened by the Lamb?
👉 Seven.
What the seals reveal
The first four seals release the four horsemen — conquest, war, famine, and death. The fifth reveals the souls of martyrs crying out for justice. The sixth brings cosmic upheaval. The seventh seal, when finally opened, leads into silence in heaven and then a new sequence of seven trumpets. The scroll itself is understood to represent God’s plan for history, sealed until the right moment to be revealed.
